Detroit Shock to Give Away 2,000 Tickets to Tip-Off Labor Day Weekend
“This year, a lot of people will be around for the holiday weekend,” said Detroit Shock Chief Operating Officer, Craig Turnbull. “This is a great chance for people that haven’t made it out to The Palace for a game yet this season.”
Beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, those interested can go to DetroitShock.com to request their free tickets for Friday’s game. There is a five-ticket limit per person.
The defending champion Shock have won five of their last six games and are in the midst of a late season push towards the WNBA playoffs in hopes of repeating as WNBA champions — what would be their fourth Championship in the past seven years.
You don’t have to be homebodies this Labor Day Weekend, come experience the electric atmosphere of a Detroit Shock basketball game right here in Auburn Hills!
