“We’re excited to have Discover Card as one of our partners this year,” said Riley following the autograph session. “The Discover Card Fan Lounge is a great environment for fans to meet players, and hopefully other fans will hear about these post-game events, and get on board with Discover Card and the WNBA.”
Sutton-Brown echoed those sentiments. “Discover Card has done a great job providing an opportunity for us to interact with fans after games, especially visiting players since they don’t get that opportunity very often. Having my first Discover Card event here in Detroit was great since its right next door to Canada, so it’s almost like my second home. Thanks to Discover Card for their support of the WNBA and to all the fans who attended!”
Shock fans have three more opportunities to participate in the Discover Card Fan Lounge at The Palace - July 22 vs. Chicago, August 1 vs. Indiana and August 6 vs. New York. To gain entry to the Lounge, simply present your Discover Card at the door or apply for a card at the Fan Lounge table located on the main concourse. The are 150 passes available for each event, so be sure to arrive at the Lounge immediately after the game. Children 10 and under get in free.
