The 2005 honorees included the Shock’s own Swin Cash, actress and producer Vivica A. Fox; Sharon Alexander-Holt, Chief Operating Officer of the Urban League of Metropolitan Denver; Faye Billups, Community Leader and Mother of Detroit Pistons Superstar Chauncey Billups; Marita Green-Monroe, Accomplished Attorney and Wife of basketball legend Earl “The Pearl” Monroe; Pioneer in the field of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Lorraine Parris and Ayiko Broyard, Manager of Music Marketing for Davie-Brown Entertainment/Reebok.
Chic Boutique attendees also participated in a silent auction featuring items from sporting goods giant CHAMPS, R&B superstar Jill Scott, gospel powerhouse Yolanda Adams, super crooner Will Downing and Divorce Court’s Judge Mablean Ephraim.

The IAAAM Foundation is a Pennsylvania based non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and continuation of African-American music and culture worldwide. Proceeds from Chic Boutique will benefit Summerscope, IAAAM’s premier program.
