Detroit Shock Host After Party At Applebee’s

AUBURN HILLS, Mich.—On Sunday, August 21, the Detroit Shock will play host to the Washington Mystics at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The game will tip-off at 5:00 p.m., with the doors opening at 3:30 p.m. After the game, the Detroit Shock will also play host to fans at a special after party to be held at the Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar located at 750 Brown Road in Auburn Hills just north of I-75 near the Joslyn Road exit.

Fans are invited to meet Detroit Shock center Barbara Farris and Shock All-Star forward Cheryl Ford at Applebee’s after the Shock vs. Mystics game. In conjunction with the party, Applebee’s will be featuring food and drink specials, including a special late night 2 for 1 deal on selected appetizers. The event will also include some outdoor basketball activities, an auction of Shock items, and a short autograph session.

The Shock are currently in fourth place in the Eastern Conference (14-14) and are fighting for a spot in the 2005 WNBA Playoffs.
