    On Deanna Nolan's play:
    "The team knows, the coaches know, that Deanna can be the best player in the league, the best guard in the league. When she plays with that kind of energy and that kind of determination and the will to win, she's really good as you all saw but unfortunately we put ourselves in that position where we had to scratch and claw again and we talked about that. If Deanna plays like that from the start and makes everybody keep up with her on our team, we'll be just fine."

    On the nine-day layoff affecting play:
    "I think it was more of a focus thing, probably a little bit of rust, our shots weren't going in, we shot terrible, missed a lot of lay-ups, missed free-throws, turned the ball over. Anything that could have gone wrong did go wrong for most of the game until Deanna decided to put us on her shoulders and will us to victory."

    On adjustments made during the game:
    "Effort, effort, effort, and give the ball to Deanna. With Swin out, Deanna is the one we have to look to to dominate the action for us. When Swin's there, we have two players to do that for us."
