HOW SHE FITS
Riquna Williams sure can fill the stat sheet. The four-time ACC player of the week in 2011-12 became the fifth woman in the University of Miami's history to score 2,000 career points. She's also ranks first in school history and fifth all-time in the ACC with 268 career three-pointers.
Williams ranks third in the ACC this year with 16.4 points a game and scored a career-high 36 points in a win over No. 11 Rutgers earlier this season. Williams is a scorer with a knack for playing the passing lanes as she averaged 2.2 steals a game for her career.
Williams' athleticism and ability will make an easy leap to the WNBA and specifically for the Tulsa Shock as she can provide scoring for a Tulsa team that fell behind early in a lot of games in 2011. Her shooting percentage from the field and from three still require improvement but the potential is obvious and present.
