In-Game Host

For years, Kim Jackson has covered breaking news, education and even sports stories, as an award winning news reporter for KTUL Channel 8. Picking up the microphone as the in-game host for the Tulsa Shock, was a great fit.

Kim gave basketball a shot, just once as a high school sophomore, but gave it up, persuing a degree in communications from the University of Tulsa. In recent years, Kim embraced fitness as a passion, becoming a certified personal trainer, and using her position, to spread the message of health and wellness.

Each year, Kim organizes a couch to 5k running program to encourage the community to become more active, as many complete the first 5k race of their lives. Kim has also organized, Fit For the Kingdom, the fitness ministry at Metropolitan Baptist Church. She is an ambassador for the American Stoke Association and the Power to End Stroke.

Kim is most proud of her children and their biggest cheerleader, with one son now playing competitive basketball and another a division one college football defensive lineman.

Don't be surprised if you find Kim roaming through the stands, laughing and talking with Shock fans, connecting with people is what Kim loves to do!
