Washington, D.C.– The Detroit Shock was out and running to their third straight blowout win to get them to a 3-1 start and the top of the Eastern Conference. Cash broke her career high in assists, by posting 6 helpers in the game. The game featured all of the Shock players contributing to the score, as the largest lead the Shock could build up was 39 points.

The Mystics was unable to keep up, especially in the fast break category as the Shock outscored them 18-2. Three Mystics players were in double figures, as Asjha Jones led the way with 14 followed by Stacey Dales-Schuman and Murriel Page both scoring 10 points a piece. Once again, Swin Cash paced the Shock with 19 points and set a career high in assists with 6 helpers (prev. 5). Deanna Nolan contributed 16 points and 5 rebounds along with Cheryl Ford’s 10 point, 9 rebound night.
