Portland – It took 10 lead changes, eight ties and an overtime period for the Shock to end its four-game losing streak with a three-point win over Portland. Trailing by one, 77-76, with 1:07 to go in OT, Deanna Nolan drained two free throws to give Detroit the lead and her 12-foot jumper with 5.1 seconds remaining sealed the deal.

Neither team led by more than seven points during regulation, and a Jackie Stiles jumper with 8.8 left in the second period helped the Fire send the game into bonus time.

Stiles' 21 points led all scorers, while Astou Ndiaye-Diatta’s 18 points paced the Shock.
