Miami – The Shock scored just 16 points in the first half, trailed by 10 at the break and never led the entire game as they fell to 5-13 on the year. Miami held Detroit to 28.6 percent shooting on the night while connecting on 51.9 percent of its own shots. Sandy Brondello’s 14 points led all scorers, while Deanna Nolan was the lone Shock player to reach double figures in scoring with 10 points.
