Cleveland- Deanna Nolan’s 14-footer from the right elbow with 2.2 seconds remaining gave Detroit a one-point win over the Cleveland Rockers and ran the Shock’s record to 13-5. The Rockers led by three at the half, while neither team led by more than two points over the game’s final 12:15. Penny Taylor, Chasity Melvin and Merlakia Jones led the way for the Rockers with 12 points each. The Shock’s Cheryl Ford recorded another double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds, and Swin Cash led the team with 14 points.
