Detroit Shock 65, Charlotte Sting 84

The Charlotte Sting nailed 52.5 percent of their field goal attempts on the night sending Detroit to its third straight loss. Andrea Stinson scored 27 points on 10-of-15 shooting and three other Shock players scored in double-figures. Sandy Brondello was the only Shock starter who cracked double figures with 15 points.

Detroit held a 23-14 lead with just over 12 minutes gone in the first, but the Sting turned things around in a hurry and tied up the game with an 11-2 run. Charlotte took the lead for the first time with 35.8 seconds to go on a Vicky Bullett jumper and led by four at the break. The Sting scored the first six points of the second half and led by double figures for much of the second half.
