Introducing the $99 Season Ticket

TULSA, Okla. (Aug. 3, 2010) – Seventeen games, only $99. The Tulsa Shock is starting off the 2011 season ticket campaign with a $99 season-ticket offer that is both unique to Tulsa and the Women’s National Basketball Association.

“Our market research, in depth conversations with single-game buyers, various market segments, our strong season-ticket base and a full season in Tulsa has convinced our organization that this is the optimal ticket offer for all fans,” Tulsa Shock President Steve Swetoha said. “This season-ticket offer provides the best entertainment value in the summer time for residents of Tulsa and the surrounding regions.”

The new 17-game offer reduces the pricing of 29 percent of the seating in the BOK Center to $99 season tickets which amounts to under $6 a game. The $99 season ticket package also rests significantly lower that the WNBA average of $171 for the lowest ticket price of season tickets in the league.

“We are off to a great start to reach our season-ticket renewal goals for the 2011 season and with this new offer we feel like our already rabid fan base will grow immensely,” Swetoha said. “Our goal is to provide the greatest value of entertainment and fun in the summer months across the region.”
