Rebecca Responds to Mail
See what the Liberty star had to say in her e-mail answers!
I've noticed on several occasions that your website isn't always
updated and I'm sure your webmaster is busy.I know from experience that
visitors won't come back if they continually find "old news" on a site. I own a
wrestling site and am familiar with html script & I also report for Maryland
Championship Wrestling. I wanted you to know that if you ever need any
assistance in upkeeping your site, I'd be more then happy to do that for you. Let me know. Thank You,
Linda

Linda,
My webmaster was actually voted the busiest webmaster in North America by
the Computer Society of Europe. I'm thinking of giving her a serious
promotion but the "Powers That Be" won't let me. Anyway, I want my visitors
to have a positive experience on my site and return frequently. In the next
few weeks you are going to see some incredible improvements to
RebeccaLobo.com (you didn't think it could get any better, did you?!?) Thanks
for your offer of help. As soon as I have my steel-cage version of the World

Dear Rebecca,
I have experienced my first basketball injury. I sprained my ankle and
it really hurt. But I know it didn't hurt as much as your knee injury. So now
I'm a real athlete. Thanks to you I am inspired to come back from my injury
strong.
Love your fan,

Lisa,
Welcome to the injury club. You are officially a "real" athlete now. We
all start off small, with things like ankles. Hopefully you won't graduate to
anything more severe. You will come back strong. Make sure you do your rehab
and get your ankles taped for games (don't forget to tape the right one
before the left ... one of my odd habits.) -Rebecca
Who do you look up to, and who was your role model and why?

Lisa,
In basketball I looked up to Larry Bird as a kid. I thought he did the
most amazing things on the basketball court. He is the one NBA legend I've
always wanted to meet, and never have.
In life I always looked up to my parents. They set a great example of how
to prioritize things in my life. I will always put things in the following
order ... God, family, friends ... internet. -Rebecca
U r the best Rebecca ... Go LIBERTY!!!!!

Andrea,
I'm not above putting an email like this one on my site. There will
probably be one "EB" (ego boost) email per response ... that's the beauty of
having your own site - you can put up whatever you want. By the way, love
your email address! -Rebecca
Hey, whats up? My question is, how can you stand not being able to
play basketball for such a long time? I have knee and hip problems and I
haven't been able to play sports since October and won't be able to play again
till about September. How do you do it, especially since you tore your ACL
again? GOOD LUCK in the up coming year and hope to see you back on the court.

Susannah,
You sure added a lot of twists and turns to the spelling of an otherwise
simple name. To answer your question, it is tough not being able to get on
the court. I can't wait until my knee is healthy enough to get back on the
court.
An interesting sidenote: lots of guys are challenging me to one-on-ones
and talking trash during my injury. Law of Human Nature #1: Injury in woman
breeds confidence in man. They don't know that when I get back, I'm gonna be
