Let's just say that in writing to Seattle Storm All-Star forward Lauren Jackson, you might be corresponding with an M.V.P. That is because Jackson, who won the award back in 2003, led the league in scoring and rebounding this season and was as responsible for her team making the Playoffs as any other player in the league. But just winning the M.V.P. wouldn't be enough for the Aussie. She wants another ring. Jackson and the Storm won the championship back in 2004, but have been up-and-down ever since. For Seattle and the Storm to get back to playing at the highest level, it will start with Lauren.
