From the joy of dethroning a former champion to the intensity of beating a rival to simply witnessing a teammate's clutch shot, WNBA players share their favorite playoff memories.

Margo Dydek
San Antonio Silver Stars

"The last one, when we [the Utah Starzz] beat Houston in the semifinals when no one was expecting us to win. That was fun to play, and that was fun to surprise some people who didn't believe in us."

Becky Hammon
New York Liberty

"When we won the East last year, that was pretty awesome. The Finals last year was a little more heatbreaking than normal because the games were so close. But, winning the Eastern Conference last year was one of my favorite memories."

Dawn Staley
Charlotte Sting

"Beating New York when we were down 0-1 for the Eastern Conference Championship. We won two games in the Garden... I think the biggest moment was when Allison Feaster hit a three. That kind of gave us a cushion, a cushion to just hold on to win the game. She hit the big three on the right-hand side. It was an NBA three. And I think I passed the ball to her and she just knocked it down. It felt great. Because we started out the season 1-10 and everybody counted us out, and everybody thought we had a great team but we just couldn't get the results when we wanted them. But everybody in our camp knew that, and we looked at the schedule and we figured if we win this many games we can get into the playoffs. It was a matter of just correcting some little things that turned the season around, and I thought it was a great ending to what started out to be a disastrous situation."

Natalie Williams
Indiana Fever

"I think the biggest thing was last year winning in Houston [with the Utah Starzz]. We played a great second game in Houston but lost. And then coming back and overcoming all the obstacles that happened during that series and during that game with the referee that went down and just coming back and winning in that arena, which was an incredible place to play and extremely loud."
