Brooke Wyckoff of the Connecticut Sun checked in to answer some questions from her WNBA.com Playoffs Mailbox. Here's what she had to say before the start of the Sun's first-round series against the Charlotte Sting.

Hey Brooke, Congratulations to you and the Sun for getting to the playoffs!! I'm a season ticket holder and would like to know what kind of cheers or actions from the fans help the team the most? We will be there at the playoffs (section 25) and we want to do our part!!! Thanks and GO SUN!!!!!

Wyckoff: "Whatever noise the fans can make is great just as long as it is loud or it is when we do something well or to distract the other team. We love it when it gets loud in here. When we do something well and the crowd goes wild it not only helps us, it gets into the opposing team’s head."

Hi Brooke, I am an 8-year-old Sun fan, and my mom and I drove an hour this morning to get tickets for the playoffs! What does the Sun have to do different to beat Charlotte at their home and how do you shoot important three-pointers so well? Your fan, Danielle
P.S. Thanks for the autograph at the Girl Scout thing Friday.

-- Danielle (Farmington, CT)

Wyckoff: "I don’t think we have to do anything differently then we did when we played Charlotte here, just come out and play really hard and really intense. How do I shoot three-point shots really well? It is from practicing and from having confidence in myself."

What are your plans for the offseason? Are you going to stick around Connecticut?
-- Surge (Wolcott, CT)

Wyckoff: "I am going to Spain this off-season to play basketball in a town two hours from Madrid. I will leave in September sometime and return in April."

How would you describe the team's physical condition going into the playoffs?
-- Len and Linda (Colchester, CT)

Wyckoff: "I think we are in great physical condition, we have really worked hard all season long to keep ourselves in shape and to keep ourselves strong. I feel like we are at our peak conditioning-wise, injury-wise, nobody is hurt, knock on wood."

How do you feel about beating Indiana?
-- Sarah (Indianapolis, IN)

Wyckoff: "Great! It got us into the playoffs. It was a really good game, they are a really good team. It was a good game to get us into the playoffs and get us charged."

Brooke - Congrats on the playoff berth!!! It has to feel great, but as a fan of the Sun, I know there are better things ahead for the team. Will your day-to-day routine for game preparation change for the playoffs? Or, will you stick to what you have done throughout the season? Good luck to you and your Sun teammates in the playoffs.
-- Dan (Sandwich, MA)

Wyckoff: "No, not really, not at all. We’re sticking stick to what we have done and just trying to carry the momentum of what we have done these past couple of weeks. It is do or die now, so you have to be much more focused."
