Allison Feaster of the Charlotte Sting checked in to answer some questions from her WNBA.com Playoffs Mailbox. Here's what she had to say before the start of the Sting's first round series against the Connecticut Sun.

After losing to Ct the last 2 games what will you do different when you play them in the playoffs?

Feaster: “Lois, we will make adjustments in areas where we fell short in the regular season. We also will focus on the positive aspects of our season series with the Sun: we won twice. When we did lose, we weren’t as aggressive and in order to win, we must dictate the tempo.”

Congrats on making the playoffs again! Now to my question: What is more challenging, making the playoffs in the States or in Europe? PS KEEP shooting!
-- Helga (Charlotte, NC)

Feaster: “Thanks, Helga. Hands down, it is harder in the WNBA. There is an abundance of talent in our league on each team and there are always upsets. While there are occasionally surprises in Europe, the powerhouses are always there in the end.”

Allison, we made the trip from Myrtle Beach four times this season to see you guys play and you are our favorite Sting player. Pee Wee was hurting last time you played the Sun and you won on a last second shot by Dawn. How are you going to shut down a full strength Pee Wee?
-- Bob & Betty (Myrtle Beach, NC)

Feaster: “Thanks for the support and your question! Only in a perfect world could we imagine shutting down a full-strength Shannon Johnson. Our goal will be to limit her impact on the series as much as possible.”

Allison, as a long time fan of the Sting, I want to say congratulations to all of the team. The Sting are a class act on and off the court and that is why you guys will go all the way. My only question is "How will you guys overcome your on the road play?" How will you guys prepare for that mentally? Thank you for all your hard work and good luck.
-- Robin (Cary, NC)

Feaster: “Thanks, Robin. We struggled this season on the road, but I have no doubt that we will be mentally prepared for the road games during playoffs.”

Hi Allison. Congratulations on making the playoffs and I wish your team great success. I wanted to know if you prepare differently for the playoffs as opposed to the regular season?
-- Kandi (North Scituate, RI)

Feaster: “Hey, Kandi, playoff games are unique because most are 'must-win' situations. Therefore, our game approach is to physically and mentally exhaust all possibilities in order to be victorious.”

Hey Allison! I'm glad the Sting are in the playoffs and I want to see you all make a long run! Your first opponent is Connecticut, a team that has many talented players. My question is which Sun player will your team focus on stopping the most and why? Thanks Allison and good luck in the playoffs!
-- Jordan (Fayetteville, NC)

"[Nykesha] Sales and [Katie] Douglas are the players that hurt us in the regular season, but we know that Johnson and [Taj] McWilliams-Franklin are capable of being offensive threats. Ultimately, we’ll focus on our team defense to control the Sun’s offensive output!”
