Timeout with Joan Jett

Rockin' Liberty fan Joan Jett

She loves Rock 'n' Roll and her New York Liberty. While Joan Jett decided to leave her Charlotte Sting voodoo doll at home today (word has it she hexed the Miami Sol with a homemade beauty) she did take a :20 timeout with wnba.com in the midst of an exciting Eastern Conference Finals Game 2 matchup.

You're a big New York Liberty fan, what do they need to do in this series and what is your prediction?

Jett: "I think it's a really exciting series, the one thing I would say is that the Liberty need to get up on their three-point shooting and don't let the Sting get off a shot. Dawn Staley and Allison Feaster are like money when they shoot the three-pointers. The Liberty just need to stay close and I think this series is really exciting and I'm glad we're in it. Being a New York fan, I think we will take it in three."

What's your prediction for the WNBA Championships?

Jett: "I think it's New York's year, so whether it's Los Angeles or Sacramento, I think that we can play with either team, have a great series, and come out on top. I'll be traveling out to Los Angeles or Sacramento to see the Championships, too."
