Andrea congratulations and best of luck come Thursday. How much has Dawn meant to this team both on and off the floor? Is she the glue that keeps it all together, the crafty-veteran leader?

Dawn is, what is more than a leader. She is wonderful on and off the court. She's more than a point guard, a coach on the floor, she keeps us laughing off the floor. She is the glue that holds this team together.

Hi Andrea, congrats on a great turn around on your season and hats off to you for winning the division title. Which team do you think is a better match for the Sting, the Sparks or the Monarchs?

Either one, both will be tough. We'll just go out and do our best against either team. It will be a hard battle in the finals.

When you girls went into the locker room at half time what did your coach say to you girls?

At that point the game was tied, she said it was going to be a hard-fought 20 minutes, there's going to be pushing and shoving, you need to be mentally and physically strong. Stay tough.

Andrea, after playing so many years with Rhonda Mapp both at NC State and Charlotte how does it feel to win the divisional title without her on your team?

I think Rhonda is in a postion to win a conference title herself. Rhonda is a friend, and she will always be a friend. She'll always be a teammate. But I think she will become a Western Conference champ. It's working out for both of us.

Andrea I am so proud of you and the Sting, I have been there in the front row on the visitors side from the beginning! What was going through your mind at the start of the game and how did you manage to come back and win?

Well, I can't even remember the start of the game! Go out and play hard, NY is a great team , they're going to make their run, the crowd is great. We need to counter what they do. A lot of things go through my head. Go out and play hard.

Andrea, you are likely the most underrated player in the league. Just wanted to say thank you for your outstanding play during your career here in Charlotte, and we're going to try to be there Thursday night at the Hive to support you. Howe did the Liberty play you to try and keep you from being involved in the offense tonight?

They didn't stop me from being involved. I took good shots they didn't fall. I think there were a lot of people who were 1 for 7, but the main shots fell and that was the difference tonight. Free throws were crucial too.
