Postgame Chat with Charlotte SmithAs part of the WNBA.com Postgame Show presented by IBM, Sting forward Charlotte Smith participated in a live chat following the Sting's Game 2 win over the Liberty in the Eastern Conference Finals. Here's what Smith had to say:

It's very exciting to see Dawn and Allison and Andrea knocking down shots tonight. We shot 50% from the three-point line. We shot better from there than we did from the floor! Liberty Will Be The Champs from dyn.optonline.net at 4:12pm ET What do you guys think you will need to do if you want to beat NY tomorrow? Charlotte Smith at 4:14pm ET The same thing we did today. Score more points! I think we definitely have to stay focused, not get caught up in all the hype and hoopla. We want to concentrate on outrebounding them like we did tonight. Our game plan worked to perfection tonight, doubling down on Tari and I have to take my hat off to her. She's a great player. Luckily for us, a lot of their three-point shots didn't fall. Charlotte Smith at 4:15pm ET Tonight I have to make sure I definitely get a lot of rest and ice myself down because I have a lot of injuries. Just take care of myself and eating right. Mentally, I read my Bible and think about the players I'll be guarding in the game, think about their strengths and weaknesses and how to shut them down to the best of my ability. Charlotte Smith at 4:16pm ET We try not to focus on that aspect of the game. If you let it get in your head it will definitely have an impact. We have a lot of depth on our team so if someone is tired, someone else can come in and do just as well. So I don't think that will be a factor for us. Charlotte Smith at 4:17pm ET I think my role on this team is to play defense and I take pride in playing defense, whether it's trying to guard Tari Phillips or Tamika Whitmore. Charlotte Smith at 4:18pm ET It's very exciting for us to know that we can go away and definitely win in the Garden. I think everyone did their part for our success tonight. It's a great feeling to do our job with 17,000 people screaming at us. So it's a great accomplishment to win at the Garden. Charlotte Smith at 4:18pm ET It was very physical and that was to be expected. That was something Coach Donovan ingrained in our heads today that it was going to be a tough game. S. Charlotte Smith at 4:19pm ET I think an important thing is for us to continue to be focused offensively and knock down shots. It gave us a great boost to knock down shots and keep the crowd out of the game. GOSTING at 4:20pm ET Are the Sting confident they can make it to the championship? CONGRATULATIONS!!! Charlotte Smith at 4:20pm ET Most definitely. We were confident even from the beginning when we were 1-10.
