WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS GAME 3

Postgame Chat with Ukari Figgs

As part of the WNBA.com Postgame Show presented by IBM, Los Angeles guard Ukari Figgs participated in a live chat following the Sparks' Game 3 win over the Monarchs in the Western Conference Finals. Here's what Figgs had to say:

Evette Fontenot from telocity.com at 12:30am ET
What will the Sparks do to prepare for the finals?

Ukari Figgs at 12:30am ET
First we are going to take some time to rest and after that we're going to focus on what we're going to do to play hard and beat Charlotte.
poe from mega.tmns.net.au at 12:30am ET
What mentality did the Sparks go into the game with and how did they shut down the Monarchs so well???

Ukari Figgs at 12:31am ET
We went into the game with the mentality that's it's one or done and we weren't ready to go home. After yesterday, we weren't losing today.
wnba101 from houston.rr.com at 12:31am ET
How does it feel to be the Western Conference champs?

Ukari Figgs at 12:31am ET
It feels great, but you don't get a ring for being the Western Conference Champs. We're looking to win two more games and be the WNBA Champs.
Ron from tnt3.orl3.da.uu.net at 12:31am ET
Ukari, what did you think of Lisa Leslie's performance?

Ukari Figgs at 12:32am ET
I think she was awesome. That's why she's the MVP. No one can beat us the way everyone else played and how she played.
Charisse from proxy.aol.com at 12:32am ET
As one of the best point guards in the league, what do you think your team did differently tonight?

Ukari Figgs at 12:33am ET
We attacked the basketball and went at them from the inside out. Yesterday we were trying to attack from outside in. With the MVP on your team, you have to go inside out.
LoveUTbball from proxy.aol.com at 12:33am ET
How do you hit all those 3's??? You're clutch!!! There is no way that Staley can guard you ...

Ukari Figgs at 12:33am ET
Just a lot of practice in the offseason shooting. I have a couple of friends that I work out with. Also practice during the season we shoot a lot.
zach at 12:34am ET
What do you think about playing your former 'mates in Mach and Feaster??

Ukari Figgs at 12:34am ET
It's sad that they're not here anymore, but I feel great for them that they got on a team that's done as well as Charlotte has. It's always tough to play against your former teammates.
Liberty Will Be Back Next Year from dyn.optonline.net at 12:34am ET
Which win was better the one tonight or the one that put the Comets out of the playoffs?

Ukari Figgs at 12:35am ET
This win tonight was definitely better. Everyone got in on the action and it was a bigger game for us to win.
Allen at 12:35am ET
Did Lisa Leslie give you the impression that she was going to have such a big game tonight?

Ukari Figgs at 12:35am ET
I knew Lisa was disappointed in the way she played and the team played yesterday, we all were. You could tell from tip she was going to have a good game and went strong every time.
