"We are very hungry to come back Monday night. I don't think we were on top of our game early enough in the game. They rebounded the ball and continued to get up on the offensive glass to get the ball.

I think the Rockers played better basketball tonight than they did Thursday night. I think their zone took us out of what we wanted to do. We played well here, and we have won here. We are a confident group here.

Things didn't go well from the get-go tonight. It took us a while before we got comfortable, and I think we know we've got to be stronger and ready to go. We're fine. We are going to be fine. I think we were focused, and they came at us early, and I don't think we executed very well early.

The crown was definitely loud, and we did not get our composure as soon as I would have liked. We will come out Monday focused, poised and confident and ready for Game 3."

Staley

"Don't take my facial expressions as frustration. I am into the game. We are down by 20 points, and I am into the game. I'm diving for loose balls and very much into the game and trying to get our team out of the hole. I was frustrated in the first half."

Feaster

"I just hope to knock down open shots. I think that would change their tone in the first half. We had a lot of open shots that we could not knock down. I hope to knock down open shots and crash the glass."

Hughes

"Obviously, I thought we played well at both ends of the floor today. What really pleased me was the leadership we got, especially from Rushia Brown and Merlakia Jones. Leadership is what you need come playoff time, and obviously we got it.

Charlotte is a good basketball team, and I don't expect the last game of this series to be anything like this one. I did think that we got good play at both ends of the floor, and I was really pleased with what came off of our bench. We brought Rushia Brown off the bench, and I thought that the energy that she brought was significantly helpful in what we wanted to do today.

Obviously that means that we have a Game 3, and we worked hard all year to get the home court advantage in case of a Game 3."

"This was not a regular game for us. Everybody knew that this was do or die, because we were not ready to finish, and the chemistry that this team has, no one wanted to let the other one down. Everyone wanted to do a little extra to be here for Monday."

Rebounding is not about technique. It's about desire and wanting to go our there and get the ball, diving on the floor and trying to get there before the other player. I mean, when you play good defense, you've got to be there to get the rebound."

Jones

"I just wanted to come out and be aggressive. Not only to get myself on and find my shot, but to try to get my team involved, as well. I started out pretty good, and then Rushia came in and took up the slack for us. I mean, it wasn't anything I was trying to do individually, it was just trying to get my legs up under me, watch a lot of tape to find out what was going wrong with my shot, my mechanics, and I just came in today with a lot of confidence."

"All we did yesterday was go back and look at the film. We saw that we didn't really reverse the ball, and we were settling for jump shots. During practice, we worked on coast-to-coast with the balls, getting it into the post players and trying to penetrate and pitch. We did that, got the shots our of it, and then we were able to rebound out of their zone, and that was a key thing for us."
