San Antonio Silver Stars teammates forward/center Danielle Adams (nine) and guard Jia Perkins (six) placed second and third, respectively.

The honor marked the first time in four seasons in the league that Montgomery was named the league’s top Sixth Woman.

In honor of being named the Sixth Woman of the Year presented by Boost Mobile, Montgomery will receive $5,000 and a specially-designed trophy from Tiffany & Co.
