The daughter of Brenda and James McCants... Her older brother, Rashad, played basketball for the Tar Heels from 2002-05 and was the 14th pick in the 2005 NBA Draft by Minnesota... Also has a younger sister, Sade and a three-year-old niece, Aiyana... Cousin, Cameron Maybin, was the 10th pick in the 2005 Major League Baseball draft by the Detroit Tigers... Another cousin, John Avery, played football in the NFL and is now in the Canadian Football League.
