Jené Nicole Morris is the daughter of Nikitia Hardwick and has a younger brother...she majored in communications at San Diego State…she was a two-time first team all-state by Cal-Hi Sports and received all-league honors in all of her four seasons at San Francisco's Urban High School...she was named the San Francisco Chronicle Regional Player of the Year and second-team All-Metro as a junior (2004) and senior (2005)...she averaged 23.2 points, 5.4 steals and 4.6 assists per game her senior campaign under coach Jackie Zink...she led the Blues to a 31-2 record and a trip to the NorCal semifinals as a junior in 2003-04, contributing 21.6 points, 9.3 assists, and 9.0 steals per game.

Signed as a free agent with the Tulsa Shock on February 20, 2012. Selected in the first round (11th overall) by the Indiana Fever in the 2010 WNBA Draft.
