Signed by the Fever as a replacement player due to its rash of injuries to begin the 2013 season, the 10-year WNBA veteran joins the Fever roster with expectations to see playing time…from 2009-12, she shot 40.1 percent from 3-point range, 40.9 percent from the field and 91.5 percent from the free throw line, making her the only player to reach the 40-40-90 benchmarks over the last four years…she owns the fifth-highest three-point percentage in the league from 2009-12 among players with at least 200 attempted 3-pointers (.401)…Thorn owns a 37.2 percent career 3-point shooting average, eighth-best among active WNBA players (through 2012)…her best statistical season was in 2007 with the New York Liberty: 9.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

2012: Thorn played 26 games in her first season with Minnesota, averaging 4.8 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists…she came off the bench in all 26 games, contributing 17 3-pointers (17 of 47, .353) and 24 assists.
2011: Thorn played in all 34 regular season games for the third consecutive season…Thorn started seven games and she averaged 5.4 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game…Erin scored in double figures six times, largely driven by her three-point shooting...she achieved her 100th career steal and set a career-high nine steals vs. Atlanta, 7/16.
2010: She played in all 34 games for the second consecutive season, her second with the Sky and 8th in the WNBA… she averaged 6.3 points, 2.1 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 20.1 minutes per game…she led the Sky and was No. 7 in the league with a .420 3FG%, the second best of her career…she shot a team-high .889% from the FT line…she split time at each guard position and her 73 assists tied a career-high …at Connecticut, 6/22, she had a perfect shooting night, hitting 5-of-5 FGs, 3-of-3 3FGs, and 5-of-5 FTS for a season-high 18 points.

2008: Thorn played in 32 games for the New York Liberty averaging 3.2 points, 0.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game…Thorn scored a season high 10 points against Atlanta on June 11th and also had a career high 11 three point attempts in the same game.
2007: She appeared in and started 29 games for the New York Liberty, averaging 9.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game…she was named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of The Week on May 29 after dropping a career-high 28 points, including seven treys on Opening Day against Chicago…she led the team in scoring five times and rebounding once…she finished the regular season as one of the WNBA's top 20 leaders in assists per game (2.5), field goal percentage (.424), minutes per game (30.4) and three-point field goal percentage (.390).
2006: Thorn played in 27 games for New York and posted 6.1 points and 1.4 rebounds per game…she led the WNBA for 3-point field-goal percentage (.431) and shot .903 percent from the free-throw line…she led the team in points three times and scored ten plus points four times…she had a season-highs with 25 points and five rebounds at Charlotte, 7/29.
2005: In her third pro season, Thorn scored a season high 10 points for the Liberty vs. Connecticut, 7/28…she played in 21 games averaging 9.7 minutes…she shot .345 from behind the three point arc…she finished the season averaging 2.7 points per game.
2004: Thorn averaged 2.2 points in 17 games and one start for the Liberty …she scored a season-high eight points at Seattle, 6/26.
2003: The Liberty’s second-round draft pick, she played in 23 games in her rookie season…she averaged 1.9 points in 7.9 minutes per game…she hit four 3-pointers against the Shock for a season-high 12 points against Detroit, 8/ 1 … Grabbed three rebounds vs. the Sting, 7/18…she had at least one assist 13 times including three at Detroit, 8/10.

2012: Thorn made appearances in six of Minnesota’s nine playoff games as the Lynx advanced to the WNBA Finals…she averaged 2.7 points overall, with 13 of her 16 points coming in the Finals against Indiana…in her first appearance in the Finals, she matched her playoff high with eight points in Game 3 and added five points in Game 4, both losses at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
2008: Thorn played in six games in the 2008 WNBA Playoffs averaging 4.0 points, 0.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game before being eliminated in the conference finals…she shot 58 percent from the floor (7 of 12) and 57 percent from 3-point range (4 of 7)…her playoff career scoring high of eight points came at Connecticut, 9/20/08.
2007: She started all three games and shot 45.5 percent from the field in a conference semifinal series versus Detroit, while averaging 4.3 points per game.
2005: She appeared in two games, totaling 10 minutes and two points.
2004: She appeared in two games, totaling three minutes.

Thorn ended her career at BYU with 2,061 points which was fourth in school history…she also set the school record with 393 career 3-point baskets.
2002-03: Thorn averaged 18.8 points and 4.2 rebounds while starting all 31 games as a senior at BYU…she was named to MWC All-Tournament Team and MWC All-Conference First Team.
2001-02: As a junior she started in all 33 games, averaging 17.3 points and 4.0 rebounds…she was the team's leading scorer for the third consecutive year…Thorn was the MWC MVP for her performance at the MWC Championships where she tallied eight treys in a game against Wyoming, 3/6/02…she tallied a total of 60 points for the tournament in three games…she was named to the MWC All-Tournament Team and the MWC All-Conference First Team.
2000-01: She finished her sophomore season as the team's leading scorer with an average of 15.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game…she had a career and season-high 36 points and eight 3-pointers against Arizona, 11/18/00…she was named to the MWC All-Conference First Team and the MWC All-Tournament Team.
1999-00: As a freshman, she started in all 31 games while averaging 13.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game…she led the team in scoring assists (114, 3.7 per game) and steals (61) while scoring in double digits in 24 games.


Born in Orem, Utah on May 19, 1981, she is the daughter of Doug and JoDee Gardine, she has nine siblings…she spent two off-seasons (2004-06) as an assistant coach at her alma mater, Brigham Young University, where she majored in fitness and wellness management…she wore No. 11 on her jersey from junior high school through college…she notes that Hawaii and Las Vegas are her favorite vacation spots.
