FUN FACTS: Loves soccer, surfing and mountain biking… cardboard sliding down hills and tree house building were the highlights of her life as a kid… Got her head sucked into a fan in Costa Rica sending her to the hospital for a partially shaved head and stitches… Also in Costa Rica, her car slid off a mountain road and was hit head on by a taxi while riding a bike with her puppy, Tica, riding in the front basket… The impact sent Erin and Tica tumbling over the taxi… Lived in New Zealand… Slipped in the shower as a kid, knocked her head on the side of the tub and stopped breathing… Both parents were hippies… Dad hitch-hiked cross country with $3 in his pocket and went back in a VW bus… In high school had breakfast “dates” with her dad so the two could spend time together… Played tag hide-and-go-seek on the elementary school rooftop as a kid… Fell out of a second-story window as a toddler, landing on the only bush around… Bought land in Costa Rica so she could live in a rainforest and would hike through, machete’ing her own path… Mode of transportation on college campus was a longboard skateboard… Broke her arm twice playing soccer…Loves full-moon surf sessions and surfing in spots only accessible by boat.... 2008: Averaged 7.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game… Tallied a career best 36 steals during the regular season and enjoyed a career tops .431 percentage from beyond the arc hitting 28 of 65 3-point attempts… Scored in double-figures 13 times during the regular season… Dished a career-high six assists against Phoenix on May 20 to go with 13 points and four rebounds… Scored a season-best 15 points with four assists and six rebounds at Phoenix on July 15… Had nine points, five assists and six rebounds in the final regular season game against Sacramento on Sept. 13… Grabbed a season-best eight rebounds (seven offensive) to go with nine points, a steal and a block at Phoenix on Aug. 28… Averaged 6.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists during the playoffs… Picked up 10 points and four rebounds at Sacramento on Sept. 18… Tallied eight points, four assists and two steals against the Monarchs on Sept. 22, then picked up nine points and three rebounds at L.A. on Sept. 25.

2007: Was enjoying a career year starting 10 games, appearing in 18 total games, averaging 11.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.9 steals per game before tearing the Anterior Cruciate Ligament in her left knee less than a minute into the Stars July 11 game at Phoenix… was the current Western Conference Player of the Week at the time of her injury… In the four games leading up to her injury, Buescher averaged 17.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game, including a career-best 27 points and five steals in an 80-73 win over Seattle.
