In her second season in the WNBA she appeared in all 34 games and started in 11… Averaged 6.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and was ranked 20th in the WNBA in offensive rebounds with 57…She set two career highs with 9 field goals and 22 points shooting a perfect 4 for 4 from the line in the 5/22 game against the Sacramento Monarchs. 2007:
Price had 34 starts out of 34 games played…averaged 7.9 pts, 2.9 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game…Named 2007 WNBA Rookie of the Year…finished 4th among rookies in both scoring and assists…Price set season highs in the 6/12 game vs. Seattle, with 17 pts, 9 FT made, 13 rebounds, and 9 defensive boards… Ranked 20th in the WNBA in assists per game (3.0)…Ranked 15th in the league and leads all the rookies in rebounds per game (6.0)

College Career:
Helped lead Ole Miss to their first Elite Eight appearance since 1992… In her final game against Tennessee, Price scored 30 points…. Averaged 19.1 points per game, which ranked second in the SEC and 32nd in the NCAA… Her 3.7 steals per game ranked first in the NCAA and SEC… Ranked fourth in assists in the SEC with 4.7 per game… Price was the only SEC player to rank in the top five inscoring ,rebounding, assists and steals, and she joined Cheryl Miller as the only two players in NCAA history to record over 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, 400 assists and 400 steals… Named a 2007 Kodak/WBCA All-American… Selected to the ESPN.com All-American Team… Named 2007 Defensive Player of the Year becoming the first player in the history of the league to win the award two times… As a junior she was named the 2006 WBCA/Kodak All-American Honorable Mention after earning All-Region 3 honors… As a sophomore she earned All-SEC Second Team honors and 2005 SEC Defensive Player of the Year.

Nickname is “Mintie” or “AP”... She is the youngest of five children... Was raised by her mother, who inspired her to work ethic and faith... She wore a skort during her high school career because of her religious beliefs... Loves comedies, especially anything with Jim Carey, but her favorite movie is Dream Girls – and she admits to knowing every word to every song... If she wasn’t playing basketball she would be a fourth grade teacher.
