For the Minnesota Lynx...played in 25 games...Averaged 13.3 mpg, 2.4 ppg and 1.4 apg...recorded her career-high in assists (seven) against Orlando on August 20, 1999. Signed as a free agent with Minnesota.

OTHER PROFESSIONAL EXPEREINCE:
Played in Australia's WNBL, most recently with the Sydney Panthers...During the 2000-01 season with the Panthers, led the league in assists per game with 6.0 and minutes per game with 38.3...Helped lead the Panthers to the 2001 WNBL Championship and was voted onto the All-Star Five, averaging 15.0 ppg. Burgess has also played for the WNBL's Sydney Flames (1991-1999). During her time with the Flames, she won two WNBL Championships (1993 & 1997) and was named to the All-Star Five in 1998. In her final season with the Flames, Burgess averaged 14.6 ppg and 3.9 apg.
