Born in Arizona and raised in Tahlequah, OK... the highest WNBA drafted Native American... Attended Sequoyah High School which is run by Cherokee Nation where she led her team to four straight state championship games and three title games... She carried a 3.2 grade-point average and has been a member of the athletic director's honor roll five times... Was the 2007 Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year, an all-state pick ... At Kansas she majored in applied behavioral sciences.
