Attended Sequoyah High School which is run by Cherokee Nation where she led her team to four straight state championship games and three title games... She carried a 3.2 grade-point average and has been a member of the athletic director's honor roll five times... Was the 2007 Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year, an all-state pick ... At Kansas she majored in applied behavioral sciences.
