Majored in psychology at Southern California…was originally recruited to USC by then Head Coach Cheryl Miller…enjoys writing poetry and singing in her church choir during her free time…favorite singers are Whitney Houston and Yolanda Adams…also enjoys listening to her Dad sing…likes Gospel and R&B music…lists her parent’s seafood gumbo as one of her favorite dishes…ran track in high school (finished 4th in state in 300 meter hurdles)…lists her parents as role models, because “after 32 years, I want to be like them. I have no need to look outside my own home for a role model.”…enjoys laughing, going to movies and watching comedies…spent the 2001 off-season working with the Mercury Community Relations Department…has an older sister, Cherlyn, and a younger brother, Lester.
