CAREER TRANSACTIONS:

  • Selected No. 9 overall in the 2016 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever. Played seven seasons with Indiana from 2016-2022. Signed with the Minnesota Lynx for the 2023 season. Acquired by the Connecticut Sun, along with the No. 19 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft in exchange for Natisha Hiedeman.

2023 SEASON WITH MINNESOTA:

  • Appeared in 33 regular season games for the Lynx, starting in 21.

  • During 2022, Mitchell surpassed 200 career regular season games played, 600 made field goals and 500 rebounds.

2021 SEASON WITH INDIANA:

  • Mitchell averaged 12.0 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 27.3 minutes per game in 28 contests, while starting a career-high 25 games for the Fever.
  • Her stellar free-throw shooting also continued in 2021, shooting 88% from the charity stripe and holding firm to the sixth best free-throw shooting percentage in WNBA history at 89.7%.
  • Mitchell will carry the fifth longest regular season streak at 10 games of scoring at least 10 points into the 2022 WNBA season.

  • Led the Fever in scoring four different games during the 2020 season.
  • Tallied a career-high 24 points against Phoenix on July 29.
  • Ended the season as the league-leader in free throw shooting percentage at 95.1%
  • Began the season making 24 consecutive free throws, until missing an attempt on August 9 against the Washington Mystics.

2019 SEASON WITH INDIANA:

  • Mitchell averaged 9.7 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 25.2 minutes per contest while starting 14 of 33 games played in 2019.
  • Ended the season as the ninth leading scorer in franchise history with 1,197 points.
  • Finished in double-figures in 15 of 33 games.
  • Scored a career-high 22 points at New York on 5.24 behind a 13/14 clip from the free throw line.
  • Ended the season still as the franchise leader in free throw percentage (89.1%, 345/387).

2018 SEASON WITH INDIANA:

  • Mitchell played in all 34 games with 20 starts, averaging 9.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
  • Tallied a season-high 17 points on three different occasions: vs. Las Vegas on June 12, at Atlanta on July 13 and at Phoenix on August 10.
  • Narrowly missed the first double-double of her career at Phoenix on August 10, while recording a season-high nine rebounds.
  • Registered a season-best seven assists three times: vs. Washington on May 24, at New York on June 10 and vs. Chicago on August 18.
  • Led the team in assists on four occasions.

2017 SEASON WITH INDIANA:

  • Mitchell played in 27 games with nine starts, missing the club’s last seven games with torn cartilage and a bone bruise in her right knee.
  • Averaged 10.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals per game prior to her injury.
  • Ranked fourth in the WNBA with a 92.2% free throw percentage.
  • Tallied a season-high 19 point and five assists in a road win at Chicago on June 19.
  • Scored 10 points and added a season-high eight rebounds against Washington on July 14.
  • Reached double-digit scoring 16 of 27 appearances.

2016 SEASON WITH INDIANA:

  • Mitchell became only the fourth Fever rookie to play in all 34 games and she finished second behind Tamika Catchings’ rookie scoring record with 291 points, an average of 8.6 points per game.
  • Finished fourth in the WNBA with a 91.1% free throw percentage, aided by a franchise record 42 in-a-row at the close of the season.
  • Scored in double-figures 14 times during her rookie season.
  • Began the season with eight straight games of double-digit scoring, the longest streak by a Fever rookie to begin her career.
  • Opened her rookie season with an 18-point debut against Dallas on May 14.
  • Led the team in scoring five times and eclipsed 20 points twice.
  • Had a season-high 21 points at Connecticut on June 5 and poured in 20 points at Los Angeles on July 6.
  • Named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team.

COLLEGE CAREER:

  • One of the most decorated women’s basketball player in South Carolina program history, Mitchell made more starts (135) and played in more games (139) than any player… she capped her college career as the recipient of the University of South Carolina President’s Award, the highest annual award bestowed on a student-athlete, honoring achievement in athletics, academics and community outreach… on the court, she finished her career fifth in Gamecock history with 1,885 points and 234 steals… she was second in program history in both three-point shooting (39.9%) and free throw shooting (77.3%)… Mitchell was a three-time All-American… she was also a three-time All-SEC First Team selection, and a two-time SEC Player of the Year… she was only the second sophomore to earn the award in league history… Mitchell holds seven single-season school records, including three-point percentage (.541 in 2013-14) and free throws made (157 in 2013-14), and single-game records for three-point percentage and free throw percentage… she was one of the team’s top two scorers in all three SEC regular-season championship seasons and was the Gamecocks’ top scorer during the 2015 NCAA Tournament run to the Final Four.
