Angel Robinson (born April 20, 1987) is a forward for the Phoenix Mercury.

WNBA CAREER

Two-year WNBA player having spent the 2014 season in Seattle and 2017 with Phoenix

Selected 20th overall by Los Angeles in the 2010 WNBA Draft…attended Washington’s training camp in 2011

Rights acquired by Phoenix on June 25, 2016 in a trade with Seattle

Career averages of 2.8 points and 2.4 rebounds in 40 games, including nine career starts

Scored a career-high 14 points on August 6, 2017 at Washington

One career playoff appearance with Phoenix in 2017…averaged 0.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in three games

88.2-percent (15-of-17) career free throw shooter…both misses came in 2014 with Seattle

Appeared in 15 games with the Mercury in 2017, getting the start in eight games due to Brittney Griner’s injury

Scored a career-high 14 points on August 6 at Washington, finishing five-of-seven (71.4-percent) from the field and three-of-three at the free throw line

Recorded a career-high nine rebounds on July 25 at Atlanta

Posted career highs in 12 categories in 2017

Grabbed five or more rebounds in six games this season…finished with eight or more boards in four games, including three-straight from July 19-July 28

Converted on all seven of her free throw attempts…now 15-of-17 from the charity stripe in her career

COLLEGE CAREER

Finished her career at Georgia with averages of 9.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game…shot 52.6-percent form the field during her collegiate career

Became Georgia’s 31st player in program history to achieve 1,000 career points (1,188)

Finished her Bulldog career fifth on the program’s all-time rebounds list (982) and fourth on the blocks chart (213)

Named Second-Team All-SEC following the 2008-09 season after leading the conference in rebounding (9.3 rpg), becoming the first Lady Bulldog to lead the conference in rebounds since 1987-88 (Tammye Jenkins)

INTERNATIONAL

Member of the Montenegro women’s basketball National Team

Averaged 16.7 points and 13.7 rebounds in three games with Montenegro in the 2017 FIBA Championships

Played alongside the Mercury’s DeWanna Bonner on Nadezhda in Russia during the 2015-16 WNBA offseason…averaged 8.3 points on 52.6-percent shooting and 6.8 rebounds in 30 games of Russian League play…averaged 8.8 points and 8.4 rebounds in 18 games of EuroLeague play

Has also played internationally in France, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Spain and Ecuador
