Jonquel Jones (China)

Following the 2016 season, Jones decided to play for Woori Bank in the South Korean League. Jones dominated the league en route to being voted MVP. Her success in South Korea took her game to the next level and helped her win the WNBA’s Most Improved Player award in 2017. Jones will move over to China to play for Shanxi this fall.

Sylvia Fowles (China)

Fowles will be entering her fifth season with Beijing of the Chinese League. In 2016, she helped lead Beijing to a second consecutive WCBA title and was named Finals MVP while averaging 29.0 ppg. Following a season in which she won both WNBA regular season and Finals MVP, Fowles should see more success in China.

Diana Taurasi and Brittney Griner (Russia)

Two of the most talented players in the WNBA, Taurasi and Griner have combined to create a formidable duo for the Phoenix Mercury. The dynamic combo will once again play together with UMMC Ekaterinburg in Russia and continue to build their chemistry.

Emma Meesseman (Russia)

Joining Taurasi and Griner at UMMC Ekaterinburg will be Meesseman. A native of Belgium, Meesseman has had a distinguished international career, including being named FIBA Europe Young Women’s Player of the Year in 2011. She will look to combine with Griner to make the best frontcourt in Russia.

Kelsey Plum and Aerial Powers (Turkey)

A team that has hosted numerous WNBA stars in the past, Fenerbahce will be represented by both Plum and Powers this season. Plum, the No. 1 pick in the 2017 WNBA Draft and an All-Rookie Team selection, will make her overseas debut in Turkey. Powers was an All-Rookie Team selection for Dallas in 2016 before missing most of this past season due to injury.
