Diggins Starts Off Preseason with Hot Hand, Cool Head

May 6, 2014 -- Skylar Diggins certainly kept busy this off-season, but if there's one thing she wants the world to know, it's that it wasn't all for naught.

The sophomore Tulsa Shock guard put up 25 points in her preseason opener to beat the Stars and -- just four days later -- scorched the Stars for another 30 points including two 3-pointers, shooting 52 percent from the field. Skylar also made the game-winning free throws, putting the Shock up one with 2.3 seconds left on the clock.

After the game, she had this to say on Twitter:

And Skylar Diggins being, well, Skylar Diggins, it appears she can't walk two steps without running into a swarm of adoring fans, many of them sporting her signature headbands.

"I will always show appreciation to my fans for their love and support! These young girls were awesome!," she shared on Instagram, of course pausing for a selfie.
