Ruth Riley, Other Former WNBA Players In Africa For Basketball Without Borders


Former WNBA players Ruth Riley, Ebony Hoffman and Clarisse Machanguana traveled to South Africa this week to take part in the 13th edition of Basketball without Borders (BWB) Africa, and they are accompanied by a host of NBA stars. They’re taking part in a basketball camp and community outreach program held at the American International School of Johannesburg in South Africa from July 28 through August 1.

Riley and Hoffman were on hand for the clinic on Wednesday, and on Thursday they were at the Boys & Girls Club at Protea Glen for another clinic and a basketball court dedication.

The camp is being held ahead of the NBA Africa Game 2015, which will take place at Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg on Sunday/ It airs at 1 p.m. ET on NBA TV.
