NEW YORK, July 8, 2013 -- Elena Delle Donne of the Chicago Sky and Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks were named the WNBA’s Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, July 1 through Sunday, July 7.

She continued her streak of double-digit scoring efforts in each of Chicago’s first 12 games, while her 10-for-10 mark from the free-throw line improved her overall percentage to 95.5, tops in the WNBA.

To help defeat New York on July 7, she scored a game-high 20 points and pulled down six rebounds. Her point total in the 93-64 win also marked her seventh 20-plus point game of the season.
