The 6-2 forward had her first double-double of the season by scoring 20 points and pulling down 10 rebounds in the Shock’s overtime win on June 17 over the two-time defending champion Los Angeles Sparks. She followed up that performance with a 15-point, eight-rebound, six-assist effort in a comeback victory on June 20 against the 2002 Eastern Conference champion New York Liberty. In her final game of the week, she scored 22 points, grabbed five rebounds, and had four assists in an overtime road win vs. Connecticut on June 22.
