April 6, 2014 -- Connecticut put away Stanford on Sunday night, but not as handily as expected. Chiney Ogwumike's Stanford put up a fight. Chiney herself had 15 points for the Cardinal. UConn pulled away in the second half to win 75-56 will go on to face Notre Dame in the national championship game in the first ever meeting of two undefeated teams in a national championship game.
Notre Dame's Kayla McBride put up an astounding 28 points to lead Notre Dame to an 87-61 victory over Maryland.
Below, Kevin Negandhi, Kara Lawson and Rebecca Lobo discuss the final matchup.
Unfortunately, Nneka Ogwumike's bracket was rattled by her sister's loss in the Final Four while Tamika's was upset by her alma mater Tennessee (who were devastatingly eliminated in the Sweet Sixteen), but Sylvia Fowles's (as well as President Obama's) is still going strong..
