WNBA Player Participation
Ruth Riley's late block cemented Team New Orleans' narrow victory over Swin Cash and the Hornets in the 2008 McDonald’s NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday night. Late-arriving NFL star Terrell Owens was named the game's MVP.
Team San Antonio, with Silver Stars guard Becky Hammon, current All-Star Tim Duncan and legend David Robinson took home the title Saturday in the 2008 Haier Shooting Stars event against Detroit, Chicago and Phoenix.
