The Connecticut Sun's Tina Charles was named the EuroLeague's Player of the Week for Week 9, just barely edging out Phoenix's DeWanna Bonner in the efficiency index rating. Charles' 25 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks came in a 74-66 loss to Beretta-Familia, the offseason home of New York's Janel McCarville. The Liberty center tallied 13 points, eight boards and four steals in the win.
