Jackson
TODAY'S TOP STORY
Seesaw in Seattle: The Storm and Lynx took turns dominating Saturday's game. Lauren Jackson returned from a shin injury and started 5-of-5 from the field as she scored 16 first-half points and Seattle built an 11-point lead. Then it was Seimone Augustus' turn as she scored 16 of her 24 in the third and Minnesota took a one-point lead into the fourth. The momentum switched back to the Storm's favor as they opened the final quarter with a 21-3 run en route to a 92-75 home win. Jackson finished with 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting, while teammates Janell Burse (24 points, 9-of-11shooting) and Sue Bird (career-high 14 assists) helped seal the rout.

Buescher
ALSO MAKING HEADLINES ...
Queen of the Road: Who was the key to the Monarchs ending their four-game road losing streak with a 65-57 win in Charlotte? Erin Buescher, thats who. Buescher, a fifth-year center, backed up her career-high 25 points on Thursday with a career-high 13 rebounds to go with 13 points on Saturday. Her individual excellence translated to success for Sacramento as well, as the Monarchs won their second straight.

Bogues

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
"All eyes are on me. I have to find a way to get people to play consistent basketball."

-- Charlotte coach Muggsy Bogues, taking responsibility for the Sting's recent struggles, losing nine out of 10 games after their
65-57 home loss
to Sacramento.

Currie
ROOKIE WATCH
Charlotte's Monique Currie went 0-for-11 from the field on Tuesday, her 15th game in the league. It appeared Currie had hit the proverbial rookie wall. If she indeed hit the wall, she had the moxie to climb over it right away. She started up the wall Thursday, scoring 15 points, and finished scaling it in the Stings'
65-57 home loss to the Monarchs. While Charlotte lost, don't blame it on Currie as she hit a season-high six field goals for 17 points, and grabbed five boards.

Holdsclaw
SHINING OFF THE BENCH
Coming into this season, Los Angeles forward Chamique Holdsclaw played in 195 games, and started 193 of them. This season it has been a different story as she has subbed-in to all 11 contests she's played. Saturday was her best bench effort yet. Holdsclaw scored a season-high 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the Sparks' 80-75 home win over her former team, the Mystics.
