Eligibility: The WNBA Vote For Respect Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents (natural persons only) of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding residents of Quebec) who are 11 years of age or older as of 6/7/07 (“Participants”). Minors must obtain parental consent to participate. Prizes won by minors will be awarded in parent/legal guardian's name. Employees of WNBA Enterprises, LLC ("Sponsor"), the Women's National Basketball Association ("WNBA") and its teams, USA Basketball, Inc. and its teams, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, governors, owners, distributors, retailers, agents, assignees, advertising/promotion agencies, retailers and distributors, and Project Support Team, Inc. (“P/S/T”) (collectively, the “Released Parties”) and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household of each, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win a prize. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, state, and local laws. How to Enter: Participants Over 13: Visit www.wnba.com between 12:00:00AM Eastern Time (“ET”) on 6/7/07 and 11:59:59PM ET on 8/27/07 (“Promotion Period”) and complete and submit the entry form according to the instructions provided. Participants Under 13: Visit www.wnba.com during the Promotion Period and have a parent or legal guardian print and complete the entry form and mail it in a stamped envelope to be received by 8/30/07 to: WNBA Vote For Respect Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 15247, Bridgeport, CT 06673-5247. Limit one entry per person and per email address during each day of the Sweepstakes. Additional entries received from any one person or email address thereafter during any one day will be void. No photocopied, computer generated facsimiles, mechanically reproduced, or mass entries permitted and all such entries will be void. Released Parties are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, late, misdirected, stolen, postage-due or mutilated entries, mail or email; lost entries or transmissions; any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in transmission, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications, failed computer hardware or software or technical failures; garbled, misrouted or scrambled transmissions; incomplete entries or communications; or other errors; printing errors appearing within these Official Rules, in any Sweepstakes-related advertisements or other materials; or other errors or problems of any kind whether mechanical, human, computer, electronic, mail or otherwise. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to void any and all entries of an entrant who Sponsor believes has attempted to tamper with or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes. The use of automated or similar devices, including but not limited to entries submitted using any bot, macro, script, or sweepstakes service (or any other devices intended to automate any aspect of entry) to enter this Sweepstakes is prohibited and entries through such devices are void. Winner Selection: Winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about 8/30/07 from among all eligible entries received by P/S/T, an independent judging organization whose decisions will be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by telephone. The first randomly selected potential winner that answers a telephone call placed by P/S/T notifying him/her of his/her potential winning status and who agrees to accept such prize will be declared the Grand Prize winner, subject to verification of eligibility and the terms of these Official Rules. Messages will not be left on answering machines or with live persons. Prizes will be awarded to the person named on the applicable online entry form regardless of whether that is the name of the authorized account holder of the email address from which said online entry form was submitted (subject to verification of eligibility and the terms of these Official Rules). (1) Grand Prize: 3-day/2-night trip for the winner and (1) guest to attend a 2007 WNBA Finals game and have a meet and greet with a designated WNBA player. Prize consists of round trip coach air transportation for two (2) from the major airport nearest to winner's residence to the site of the 2007 WNBA Finals game chosen by Sponsor, standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations, meet and greet with a designated WNBA player (selected by Sponsor) and two (2) tickets to the game (Approximate Retail Value=$2,500US). Actual prize value will vary depending on winner's city of departure and destination of travel. Travel and hotel arrangements to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary, and any minor traveling companion must be accompanied by his/her parent or legal guardian. Trip must be taken on dates and times designated by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to provide ground transportation in place of air transportation and no additional prize will be awarded in such event. If any prize-related activity(s) is canceled or postponed for any reason, travel prize will be awarded less applicable prize-related activity(s) and Sponsor will substitute that activity(s) with an item(s)/activity(s) of equal or greater value as determined solely by Sponsor. Exact nature and duration of winner's meet and greet with a WNBA player(s) shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Exact seat locations at designated game to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Prize details not specifically set forth herein are at Sponsor's sole discretion. Miscellaneous: No transfer, assignment, cash redemption or substitution of prize (or portion thereof) except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability, and then for a prize (or applicable portion thereof) of equal or greater value. Federal, state, provincial, and local taxes including income and withholding taxes, and all other expenses not specified herein are winner's sole responsibility. If an eligible minor is selected as a winner, prize may be awarded in the name of said minor's parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein (although with respect to Grand Prize, if a minor is selected as a winner he/she must accompany their respective parent or legal guardian on trip). Grand Prize winner (if minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release within 3 days of issuance of notification. Grand Prize traveling companion (if minor, his/her respective parent or legal guardian) will also be required to sign and return a Liability Release and (where legal) Publicity Release prior to the issuance of travel documents. Non-compliance with any of the foregoing may result in disqualification and awarding of prize to an alternate winner at Sponsor's sole discretion. If any prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Grand Prize winner and his/her traveling companion also agree to comply with all WNBA rules, regulations, and directions relating to attendance at WNBA sanctioned events and/or other activities and, in accordance therewith, agree not to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with any intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at such event. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to: 1.) disqualify any person and void any entries of any person who it believes has tampered with the entry process, the operation of WNBA.com, or any other component of this Sweepstakes, whose conduct or actions affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, or who is in violation of these Official Rules and 2.) modify, suspend or terminate this Sweepstakes should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor, including but not limited to war, strikes, and/or acts of God, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of this Sweepstakes and, in the event of termination or suspension, at its discretion, award prize from among eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event requiring such termination or suspension. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that: 1.) Released Parties and their designees and assigns may use (unless prohibited by law) such entrant's name, voice, city/state of residence, photograph, visual and/or audio likeness for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or for the purpose of posting their name on WNBA.com and/or for any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, permission or notification and 2.) Released Parties and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability and will be released and held harmless from any claim, action, liability, loss, injury or damage, including, without limitation, personal injury or death to winner or any third party or damage to personal or real property due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any element of any prize (including any travel or prize activities related thereto) or participation in this Sweepstakes.
