Voters will have a difficult choice when choosing who deserves the “Best WNBA Player” award for the 2017 ESPYs. The nominees: Tina Charles, Elena Delle Donne, Maya Moore, Nneka Ogwumike and Candace Parker.
But Parker will have more on the line on ESPYs night. The Sparks star and reigning WNBA Finals MVP is also nominated for the Best Female Athlete and Best Comeback Athlete awards. Mercury star Diana Taurasi is up for “Best Record-Breaking Performance” for setting the WNBA’s all-time career scoring mark, surpassing Tina Thompson’s previous record.

Best Comeback Athlete: Matt Bush, Roger Federer, Jordy Nelson, Candace Parker
