WashingtonMystics.com sat down with Crystal Langhorne to ask a few questions...

Q: You stated that playing overseas helped your self-confidence in a major way following your rookie season, what do you look forward to gaining in your second overseas trip?
A: I basically have the same expectations for myself the second time around, but I want to improve in all areas. I plan to work on my jump shot and three ball. I also want to continue to expand my game, like shooting more, learning different post moves and counter moves to challenge my opponents.

Q: What was it like to go to Lithuania and to play on a team with no other American players?
A: It was a big culture shock to play on a team where I was the only American, but the girls were really friendly and accepted me so the adjustment came with ease. Some of my teammates spoke a little English and I even learned a few words in different languages so the experience was rewarding in more ways than one.

Q: Coach Vicky Bullett complimented your performance at Maryland, saying that you were one of the best post players she’s worked with. How much of an influence has she had on your game?
A: Vicky was a great passer, shooter and defender; she did it all. That is what I want my game to evolve into; I want to be the total player like she was.
