Mystics to Select 4th in 2013 Draft
Team Also Has 13th And 25th Overall Picks
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The WNBA announced that the Washington Mystics received the fourth overall pick in the 2013 Draft during tonight’s Draft Lottery broadcast during the 6 pm broadcast of ESPN’s SportCenter. Mystics President and Managing Partner Sheila C. Johnson was the team’s representative.
"The upcoming draft is one of the best in WNBA history so we are confident that whoever we pick will help us move our team in the right direction," said Johnson.
The Mystics had a 44.2% chance of winning the top overall, the most of any of the lottery teams, following their 5-29 season.
Washington will also have the top picks in the second (13th overall) and third (25th overall) rounds.
