Washington, D.C. - All-Star forward Crystal Langhorne was announced today as the first player named to the Washington Mystics' All-Time team. Langhorne is one of five players that will be on the Mystics All-Time team that is being selected in conjunction with the team's 15th anniversary season. The All-Time team will be unveiled on August 19, which will mark the Mystics' first game following the Olympic break. Each week leading up to August 19, a new member of the team will be announced.

The 6'2 Langhorne was originally selected in the first round of the 2008 WNBA draft (6th overall) by the Mystics and played in every game that season. The 2009 season was a breakout one for Langhorne, as she set career highs in virtually all categories including points (12.0 ppg) and rebounds (7.9) per game, was named the WNBA's 2009 Most Improved Player of the Year, and helped the Mystics return to the playoffs. In 2010, Langhorne averaged 16.3 points and a career-high 9.7 rebounds as the team closed out the season with the best record in franchise history (22-10). Last season, she led the team with 18.2 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. She was also named to the WNBA All-Star team and finished the season ranked in the top six in the league in points per game (4th), rebounds (6th) and field goal percentage (3rd). She is currently averaging 16.3 per game.

A former University of Maryland standout, Langhorne garnered collegiate honors including ACC Player of the year and All-American honors by Sports Illustrated, ESPN.com and CBSsportsline.com as a senior and led the Terrapins to the NCAA Championship in 2006.
