Mystics to Honor Bullett
Bullett played three seasons in Washington before retiring.

Bullett, who announced her retirement from the WNBA prior to the start of the 2003 season, was celebrated in a special halftime program. Senior Vice President of Business and Basketball Operations Judy Holland Burton stated before the game, “We are looking forward to honoring Vicky and thanking her for her contribution to the game of basketball and particularly to the Washington Mystics and our community.”
Bullett began her WNBA career in 1997. She spent her first three seasons as a member of the Charlotte Sting before Washington acquired her in a trade on January 19, 2000. In her six seasons with the league, Bullett averaged 10.8 ppg and 6.4 rpg and recorded 288 blocks. Bullett made five playoff appearances (CHA, 1997-1999. WAS, 2000 and 2002) in which she averaged 7.9 ppg and 5.1 rpg. She was named to the 1999 WNBA All-Star Eastern Conference team. She has recorded more than1500 points, 1000 rebounds and 300 rebounds.
A native of West Virginia, Bullett attended the University of Maryland (1985-1989) and went on to become one of the most prolific basketball players in the school’s history. In four years at Maryland, she recorded 16.9 ppg and 8.5 rpg. Prior to graduating in 1989, Bullett played for the gold medal as a member of the 1988 Olympic team and picked up a bronze medal as part of the 1992 Olympic team. Bullett’s professional career also includes more than 10 years of international playing experience primarily in Brazil and Italy.
