Series Notes:

This will be the third of four matchups between the two teams. Indiana is 2-0 against the Mystics this season. In their first meeting on July 21st, the Mystics were led by guard Lindsey Harding who scored 17 points and had six assists. Forward Crystal Langhorne added 15 points and three steals in the Mystics loss. The Fever were led by forward Tamika Catchings who recorded a season-high 28 points in the win over the Mystics. In their second meeting, all five Mystics starters scored in double figures; however, guard Katie Douglas led the Fever over the Mystics with 34 points. Indiana leads the all-time series record 26-11.

Mystics Milestones

Mystics center Chasity Melvin reached her career milestone of 200 blocks on Thursday against the New York Liberty when she recorded two blocks in the Mystics win. Melvin had a season-high four blocks in the Mystics season opener at Connecticut.

Record-Breaking

In their previous win over the New York Liberty on Thursday, the Mystics posted a team-high 34 points in the first quarter. The Mystics also posted a team-high 45 points in the first half for the second time this season.
